Villa Rocinante is about a 75 minute drive from Alicante airport and only a little more from Valencia airport (Ryanair flies here). You can pick up cheap flights to both of these airports from the UK throughout the year. It's worth shopping about to get your best deal. Our cheapest flight out to Valencia has been 14p. Unless you're driving from home, the best way to get about is by hire car. We tend to use the very reliable ‘Victoria' cars and pick up and drop off the car at the airport. Victoria cars are a little bit tucked away in the airport car park, so finding it may take a few minutes! Also, bear in mind also (at time of writing) that they request you return the car with the fuel tank empty. Don't do as our children did and run out of fuel on the motorway to the airport though.
